I’ve always had success with Makita products and when our old gas leaf blower took a crap, we decided to try out the Makita XBU02PT1. We were not disappointed, this battery powered leaf blower was everything we needed for our property. Right off the bat, the noise level was much nicer, our gas blower was loud and obnoxious. Now I don’t feel like I’m annoying my neighbors every time I clear out the driveway.

Aside from being one of the most powerful blowers I could find, the price point is unbeatable. We picked up the WORX WG520 a little over two weeks ago and it has made blowing leaves a breeze. This is a corded blower, it’s a little heavier than normal but its performance outweighs that. 

The air speeds allow it to blow everything from sticks and yard debris to matted wet leaves in the yard and driveway. We’ve been getting alot of rain and the blower has no problem moving a yard full of wet leaves. I would definitely buy this again and highly recommend anyone looking within the price point to pick one up.

My husband picked up an EGO mower a few months back from Home Depot and we loved it so much that we had to get an EGO Power+ leaf blower to accompany it. We’ve been using a corded leaf blower for a few years and while it worked alright, I was having trouble reaching some areas on our property that desperately needed to be cleared. 

This cordless electric leaf blower has a 5.0 ah battery and lets me wander to any area on my property with ease. No more extension cord restrictions! The battery is really powerful and has enough juice to do both the front and back yard in one go.  

It is comfortable to hold and the operation is smooth. The entire unit it’s pretty sleek and stores very nicely in our garage. Once again EGO has blown us away (no pun intended) and we are extremely happy with our purchase.

This backpack leaf blower was a game changer for me. I picked up a Poulan Pro about a month ago and was excited to find that it was able to blow manure, tree nuts, leaf clumps and fairly large sticks.

It is fairly light and doesn’t leave you exhausted after carrying it around for a while. The backpack feature takes away a lot of the pull on your hands that you get from a regular electric blower. Because it’s gas powered I don’t have to worry about the restrictions of a corded electric leaf blower. Now I’m able to easily reach all of the spaces on my property.

Although this is my first backpack leaf blower, I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in making their yard work much easier.

But let me tell you, this leaf blower exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. I’ve had some corded blowers in the past that don’t even come close to the blowing power that this puts out. 

The battery lasts long enough for me to handle my entire yard and then some. Anyone looking for a new leaf blower to add to their collection of yard tools, I would highly recommend picking up one of these high powered electric blowers.

Brita has always stood out as the water purifying experts to me. I’ve had a few of their products throughout the years, but when I saw a stainless steel model I had to grab one. This water bottle is great. The top comes off and there is a straw that you pull all of the water through.

The straw is attached to a Brita filter that strips away bad tastes from chlorine and other minerals in the water. The bottle is insulated stainless steel so my water stays cool all day long even in the hot sun. The filters last for around 40 gallons of water before it needs to be replaced. This already saves me having to buy bottled water for when I’m on the go, so I consider it a win.

While I was searching for a water filter that could provide enough water for my family, My friend recommended this large Brita filtered water dispenser. This thing was perfect for our needs. It fits well in the refrigerator, fills up easily and provides enough water for all of us.

We picked up some replacement filters but apparently I don’t have to switch the one that’s in there out for about 3 months. Right off the bat I’m saving money weekly on bottled water! Score!

If you have a family and want to have a clean filtered water source, this definitely delivers. The only downside is that the water filtration takes a second for the water to seep through, but if you keep up with filling it throughout the day you shouldn’t run into that problem too often.  I would highly recommend this product and may even find myself buying a second.

Dremel always makes quality products so we went with the Dremel 7300-PT. We’ve found that this dog nail grooming tool is safer and less stressful for our dogs. When it comes time to trim their nails I can get in and out quickly without worrying if I’ll cut their quicks.

It has a variable speed option that comes in handy. One of my dogs likes the fast setting and the other won’t sit still unless it’s on the slow setting. The sanding pads are high quality and definitely last an appropriate amount of time.

This home grooming device is perfect for small animals. Whether you have a cat or a small size dog, if they are a small breed this grinder will work perfectly. I was hesitant on scooping one of these up because I thought it would scare my pets. 

When I turned it on for the first time I was shocked at how quiet it was. A friend of mine had a dremel and it was fairly loud so this was a pleasant surprise. The grinding bit on this is not as strong as the dremel. I had expected as much, but this does come with extra sanding bits and sometimes I think the slower nail filing leaves less room for error.

When I pull out my dogs’ nail clippers, they run and hide. They are perplexed by this new device but they let me grind their nails down nonetheless. There is a safety stop feature that stops the tool if I push too hard and the nial guard reduces the grinding dust.  

If you have a small animal that hates getting their nails done I highly recommend picking up one of these. It has made my life so much easier.

My pets hate going to the vet to get their nails done. I always feel so bad pulling up when they start whining anxiously. I figured I’d try a pet grooming grinder and save the trip. And let me say, I’m so glad I gave it a try.

A friend of mine told me to get a grinder with a cord as her rechargeable one ended up having battery issues. I ended up deciding on the ConairPro grinder for pets. 

This grinder has a convenient safety guard cover, is quiet and the rotary tool grinds the nails down very quickly. I recommend going very slowly your first few times until you know exactly where to grind down to. This definitely beats trimming your dog or cat’s nails with a pair of clippers any day.

I would highly recommend this device to anyone wanting to save money on vet visits and for those whose pets are skittish around clippers. It worked for my cat and dog and I bet it will work for yours too!

I’m not usually one to write reviews about products, but this device far exceeded my expectations. I have three dogs, all different sizes. Bringing them to the vet to get their nails done was starting to get expensive so I decided to try out a nail grinder for dogs. 

My dogs freak out when I pull out the clippers, so I figured that a nail grinder might be the solution. My dogs didn’t really understand what was going on and were a bit apprehensive at first but the Casfuy trimmer grinded down their nails in no time. By the time they and I realized it, their nails were trimmed.

This is probably my favorite tool in the garage. I’m a new homeowner with more yard work than I care to admit. I was using my friend’s gas powered weed wacker for awhile and gave it up because it hurt my back and arms. It was a pain to use in general. 

I picked up this new WORX WG163 GT 3.0 as it had great reviews and the price was right where I had wanted it to be. My yard is a decent size and I am able to cater to my entire property with the two batteries that they include with it.

I would recommend upgrading the string that comes with it to something a bit stronger. The one it comes with works but it could be tougher. I really enjoy being able to reach any place in my yard without restriction.

It’s much lighter than my friend’s gas powered trimmer. Overall I am incredibly happy with this purchase and use it weekly.

My husband picked up this Greenworks 13-Inch 4 Amp Electric Corded String Trimmer and it has made life so much easier when it comes to yard work. The performance of this device is much nicer than what I am used to. 

The auto feed for the trimmer string is flawless and is much nicer than the push feed models I’ve dealt with in the past. It slows the operation and spits out the string. I was overjoyed that the feature worked so well.

The ability to turn the head into an edger is a great feature as well, I’m now able to keep my pathways nice and tidy and the sidewalk looking great. We have a nice long extension cord that I use to reach any spot in my yard, front and back. Not worrying about the gas running out or the battery dying has been a relief. I would highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a great weed wacker.

The price was right and it comes with both a weed wacker, an edger and a leaf blower. I was worried about the run times as these are battery powered devices and was pleasantly surprised. The batteries last long enough for me to hit my entire yard and the cordless feature lets me reach areas untouchable with a corded leaf blower or weed wacker.

I have a smaller yard and this combo definitely does the trick. The cordless string trimmer is great to get into the hard to reach spots that my mower won’t touch and with fall in full effect the leaf blower has been an almost priceless addition to my home. I always choose Makita, their tools in my opinion, hold up well and always give that extra umph. When I saw that Makita came out with a battery powered electric weed eater, I had to see what this was all about. 

I ended up picking out a Makita XRU15PT1 and wow was I impressed. This weed wacker has a BL brushless motor direct drive system that provides tons of power when you need it most. If you are used to electric string trimmers, I doubt you will find anything better than this model. 

As opposed to gas powered weed wackers, this beauty only requires a battery, so no more going to the gas station when you run out of gas which is a huge benefit. Because it is battery powered the noise level is much lower as well so you wont wake your neighbors when tackling your early morning yard work. It has a straight shaft and is lightweight compared to other models that I’ve used. I highly recommend this yard tool, I’m never ever going back to gas or corded weed wackers again.

This thing rocks. This little electric mowing machine allows us to keep up with the yard year round. We have uneven and rocky areas that a normal push mower wouldn’t be able to hit. This 3 in 1 electric mower allows us to keep every inch of the yard in check. 

Changing from the mowing capability to the trimmer is simple. For an electric device the blades are quite powerful and it is much lighter than its gas predecessors. The ability to get into all of the different terrain in my yard has been almost priceless. 

We can clean the pathways, the greenhouses, bushes, trees and steps without breaking a sweat. It is extremely convenient for our obstacle course of a yard. It comes with two batteries that provide around 30 minutes of mowing time per battery but there is always still battery life left over when our yard is completed.

This is the perfect tool for yard trimming and upkeep and we would highly recommend it for yours.

This electric mower packs a punch. It is capable of mowing over ⅓ acre in 40 minutes or less. Upon doing research on these my wife and I realized that purchasing extra batteries is what gets expensive when it comes to electric mowers. We were pleased to see that the Makita XML03CM1 comes with 4 batteries. 

This electric mower is built for quality with a commercial grade steel deck and a BL brushless Motor that supplies up to 3,300 RPM. It pumps out power like a gas mower would without the constant cost of gas. 

Our yard is about medium sized, maybe a little over an acre, but even so we only had to use 2 and a half batteries (the third battery still had lots of charge when we finished). If the grass had been just a little shorter, it would have been able to mow the whole yard with just 2 of the 4 batteries included. 

Needless to say, we are very happy with how quiet the operation is and the excellent performance. We would highly recommend this device to anyone looking to keep their lawn in check without having to go to the gas station!
